Ensuring that you are using 64-bit Windows and a 64-bit build of Dolphin on a 64-bit Mac should help with the performance. I have been copying newer versions of libvulkan.dylib back and forth between the two emulators but Dolphin never crashes upon entering or exiting fullscreen mode. Check the properties of My Computer to see if Windows has all the RAM installed on your machine.įinally, this is probably the most important check you can make: Is your Mac a 64 or 32-bit machine? If you have a 64-bit Mac but are running 32-bit Windows you can end up taking a very large performance hit. It is also worth mentioning that the Dolphin emulator uses MoltenVK but does not have this issue. Make sure Windows is using all of your RAM.

Dolphin may be trying to use the lower end emulator. Many Mac models come with 2 video cards standard, one is a low-end Intel integrated graphics for everyday use and the other is a high-end card for scientific applications, gaming, video/graphics editing and programs where the programmer does't realize they are using a GPU filter instead of a CPU filter. Make sure you have the video card drivers up to date. If you enjoyed this video, please leave a like ratingSubscribe if you haven't alreadyFollow me on Twitter: these guys s.

Apparently, Dolphin Emulator was crashing on Android TV devices because the emulator was bringing up. Unfortunately, despite many warnings, many people got their hopes up the moment they saw Dolphin was on the appstore and were ready to play their favorite games. There should also be a Boot Camp manager in Windows you can use to see if your drivers are up to date on that end. LineageOS/TWRP contributor webgeek1234 fixed a bug that caused the Android TV client to crash. When Dolphin was first uploaded to the Play Store, developers tried to make it absolutely clear games wouldn't be playable, even going as far as calling it 'Dolphin Emulator Alpha'.

In Mac OS X, you can go to Apple Menu > Software Update… to update your Mac. Make sure Boot Camp and it's drivers are up to date.

There are several things that can impact the performance of your computer under Boot Camp. When playing Wii or Gamecube games, you typically have to plug a console into a TV and play in a stationary location.
